Outcome:$400,000 settlement

Description: Defendant Doctor failed to detect malignant cells from a pap smear biopsy.  As a result, Plaintiff developed cervical cancer.  Plaintiff sued for medical malpractice.  Case resulted in settlement for $400,000.

Outcome:$650,000 settlement

Description: Civil rights case in federal court settled subject to confidentiality agreement.

Outcome:$240,000 settlement

Description: Plaintiff was subjected to repeated sexual harassment and then terminated in retaliation for reporting it.

Fernandez v. Nester
Outcome:$95,262 jury verdict

Description: Client (defendant in initial action) was sued for damages. Client counter-sued and obtained jury verdict in the amount of $95,262, inclusive of costs and attorney fees. Plaintiff (the opposing party) obtained a judgment of just $8,595.

Nemeth v. Campbell
Outcome:$180,000 settlement

Description: Plaintiff sustained serious injuries in a freeway accident involving multiple vehicles.  Defendant initially denied liability.

Lowe v. Zwast
Outcome:$125,000 arbitration award

Description: Plaintiff sustained serious injuries in a parking lot car accident. Parties agreed to a binding arbitration with a floor of $25,000 and a ceiling of $125,000. Obtained maximum possible award of $125,000 for client.

Oxford v. Reyes
Outcome:$100,000 settlement

Description: Client was rear ended at high speed and recommended for back surgery.  Case settled for the policy limit of $100,000.
